Kyleakin Gala

The Youth Group will be involved in a mini silly Highland Games. Suggestions for this were to have a tug of war competition between the three bars in Kyleakin, organise an eating competition - pickled eggs, dry crackers and such like. Even maybe a Fling the Wellie!

Bingo Night

As an idea for a fundraiser for the Group, we could hold a Bingo Night in Kyleakin Hall. Help is still needed this for this event - any volunteers?? Hopefully it could go ahead before the summer holidays.

Pathways in Hills behind Kyleakin

Chris Marsh from the Forestry Commission would like the Youth Group and the Youth Clubs help with some of the building work, he will come to a meeting to tell you of his plans.

Area Forum

15th May in the Mackinnon Country House Hotel, two reps have yet to be confirmed for this day. Suggestions of a lunch menu would be well received.

Summer Holiday Activities

Funds have been applied for day activities in the summer holidays. Suggestions include a Capiera dance workshop in Kyleakin, day trips to Inverness - Roller ball/Ice rink or bowling, and maybe some water sports. Any suggestions for this would be appreciated.

Redevelopment of land beside Hall

Consultation results amongst people so far have been close, with 20 people suggesting a Skate park, and 19 in favour of an Adventure Playground. We are still trying to get local councillor Bill Fulton to come to a meeting to discuss the options.
